About the Artist
Jacquelyn is a New York City based theater artist. She pursues a range of theatrical art from design, to crafting, to assisting, and more. Her happiest moments are in the midst of creation, and she loves to get her hands on her work. She can almost always be found knitting, and welcomes any chance to learn a new skill.
Jacquelyn has a particular love of the kind of art that teaches you something about yourself, others, and the world around you. Her work with JustArt Theatricals on Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson was an effort to explore good intentions and bad outcomes. Her work with The Cher Show and The Devil Wears Prada reminded her of the absolute necessity of fun. Her time crafting for Promenade demonstrated the wonder of communication through beauty (sometimes subtle, sometimes loud).
Jacquelyn has a passion for creative storytelling and wants to make art that moves people. Her primary goal is to foster compassion and empathy through art.
